Amazing Science-Fiction short film Raven (2010) is set in 2074 Los Angeles, the film portrays Chris Black (Víctor López), a young man of mysterious powers persecuted by the LAPD.
With budget of $5,000, Raven was part of the short film wave that hit Hollywood when many up-and-coming filmmakers, with studio aspirations, released their own mini-movies in the hopes of catching a ride on the Hollywood comet. Universal has acquired the rights to Ricardo De Montreuil's short film The Raven. Mark Wahlberg is producing the feature-length project alongside partner Steve Levinson.
